ABIEL FAMILY SHARINGS

Design for Positive Mood

The design and styling of our living space can subconsciously affect our moods. Interiors, for instance, can be made to look bright or gloomy just by adjusting the quantity and quality of light. The orientation of furnishings can also provide a sense of comfort and create a homely feel.

At Abiel, we believe interior design elements can enhance the mood of our guests, hence we took utmost care when designing and selecting furnishings for Abiel@OneTree. Working towards our goal of offering the best serviced apartments in Singapore, our No. 1 interior design and styling guideline was to create a sense of positivity and general wellbeing to our guests.

Our Scandinavian-style interiors are simple and functional with a focus on lighting to create a spacious and airy feel. All our units feature the following:

Light wood floorings

We chose light wood over dark wood flooring or carpeting as light wood flooring adds to the overall light and airy feel of the apartments. While all units are serviced twice weekly, our guests have told us they appreciate the light wood flooring as dirt marks in between cleaning sessions are not obvious. Guests who are sensitive to dust also appreciate the carpet-free flooring.

Furnishings with simple lines

We chose furniture and appliances that are contemporary, always functional and practical. Sofas have fabric-upholstered sectionals that offer firm support. All wood furnishings are light-toned with natural-looking finishes.

White walls

To keep the interior clean, simple and soothing to the eye, all walls and ceiling trimmings are painted white. Textured highlights such as woven stools in warm beige and soft furnishings in cool grey add subtle visual interest to the reduced palette.

Last but not least, the overall bright, airy and minimalist style of our apartments means our guests enjoy more living space. Many Abiel guests have given us feedback that Abiel offers the best serviced apartments in Singapore because our units are comparatively larger than the traditional hotel rooms and serviced apartments they have rented for the same amount of money.
